Hilton Rates and Contacts


Some confusion at the hotel existed, but has been cleared up as of 10/20.  Rates apply through 11/3 so reserve now.  Note update to conference rate deadline.

The hotel number is (425) 837-3600 and the website is here.  Call and ask for Washington AAPT rates (American Association of Physics teachers meeting).  The rate $109 for a king single and  $119 for double queens includes breakfast.  

Alternate Hotels


Two alternate hotels are at the same exit North of the freeway. The conference rates at the hilton are quite similar to the posted rates at these hotels, but shopping closer to the meeting date may produce a better deal.

Directions and Lodging 

Directions first.  Lodging contacts and alternate hotels are below the directions to the Hilton further down the page.

From the Hilton Garden Inn:

Exit the hotel onto Gilman Blvd headed East.  Cross 17th Ave NW (Renton Road) at the light and continue East.  The road will turn South (right) through three shallow curves over a distance of about two miles until it intersects Front Street at about 45 degrees. Head South on Front street less than 1/2 mile to Sunset Way. Turn Left (East) on Sunset to 2nd Ave NE.  Turn Right on 2nd and continue South about 1/2 mile.  Issaquah HS is on the Left.

Approaching from the either direction on I 90:

Take Interstate 90 to exit 15, 17th Ave NW.  Head south on17th Ave NW to the first stop light.  Turn Right on Gilman Boulevard and continue past 18th Ave NW.  Pass the hotel on your right to the turn 1/2 block further along.

Approaching from the West:
Take Interstate 90 east from Seattle to exit 17 Front Street.  Head South on Front street a bit less than 1/2 mile to Sunset Way. Turn Left (East) on Sunset to 2nd Ave NE.  Turn Right on 2nd and continue South about 1/2 mile.  Issaquah HS is on the Left.

Approaching from the East:
Follow Interstate 90 West to exit 18 Sunset Way.  Head South on Sunset. Follow the curve to the right (west).  You enter Issaquah at roughly 6th.  Continue on Sunset to 2nd  and turn Left.  Issaquah HS is on the Left. Continue South on 2nd about 1/2 mile.  Issaquah HS is on the Left.
